Hey, if you're going to grow something, make it edible, right? Merry Christmas and I hope you stop by if you find yourself heading south. We have a lot of catching up to do, Mister! Plus, I want to bask in the presence of your iPhone. :-) SusieSusie Writes!https://www.blogger.com/profile/14878602191612694316noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10216775.post-40767522483765508702008-12-08T11:42:00.000-05:002008-12-08T11:42:00.000-05:00Geez, I casually mention the other day that I hadn...Geez, I casually mention the other day that I hadn't seen a blog rentry from you in a while, and you promptly make up for lost time. Not only did I get a kick out of your post(your dad taping daughter's spreadsheet for display -- classic), I have to strongly agree with Karen about growing a business. You grow a geranium, but you do things to make your business grow. The first time I heard that cringe-inducing phrase was from Bill Clinton. Usually, he's pretty literate, but that made me blurt out a "Huh?"<BR/><BR/>Lunchtime. Gotta go grow my waistline.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10216775.post-69842656149228997122008-12-07T19:28:00.000-05:002008-12-07T19:28:00.000-05:00Karen, I have missed you! Yes, I agree with you - about the "grow your business" line - the only thing I "grow" is OLDER! YIKES! Are you ready for Christmas? I haven't even started, really. I have the gift ideas...now all I need is the $$$$ :-) Great to hear from you. Thanks be to God, "dinning" table and all!<BR/>By the way, one of my pet peeve sayings is "Grow the business," as in "We are going to grow this business." AAaargh! No. You grow a wart; you MIGHT get away with growing your hair, but a business grows, a plant grows. You don't GROW them. Do you agree?<BR/>Love to you, and God bless you.Gbergerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08895779471612397202noreply@blogger.com
